The Main Floor: Part One

1. Table-So much is done at this table every day from the start of Roan making breakfast to homework to just sitting and talking. This table just barely holds everyone in the Larson household and they store the smaller food box underneath it.

2. Shelf-This shelf holds everything the Larson's need of importance. They keep kitchen items and even decorate it with the seasons.

3. Lamp- Every night when it gets dark the Larson's turn on this lamp so they can keep hustling about until bedtime. It definitely comes in handy and lights up the whole cabin.

4. Pots and Pans-Every meal time and snack time these dishes are taken off the shelf to help the Larson's make all kinds of recipes.

Main Floor: Part Two

1. Fireplace-Most everything in the Larson's household is cooked here in the fireplace. Peder sleeps right across from it so he can be warm each night.

2. Peder's Bed-Kirsten always makes sure Peder has new blankets for his bed. He keeps his big panda he "won" at the Summer Solstice.

3. Window-This is one of the many windows in the Larson's house. Each morning in the fall Peder starts to look out the window to see if it snows. He loves snow.

4. This ladder leads up into the loft where everyone else sleeps.

The laundry room was half changed into Anders and Greta's bed area. When the kids get up and go down the latter, they have to be quiet for fear they won't wake their parents up!

1. Family Photo-There are many pictures of the family around the house because Greta thinks it adds a special touch, now people will know the house is theirs.

2. Ladder-This is the ladder you climb on your way to the loft and most of the bedrooms.

3. Anders Bed-It is a small area, but just the right size for the parents bed. When it is made, the house looks ten times nicer, if it is not, the house tends to look messy. This is why Anders always makes sure to make his bed.
Picture
1. Trunk-This is where every article of clean Larson Clothing goes after Anna gets back from washing in the morning. During the winter, the summer clothes are stored at the bottom and the other way around in the summer.

2. Basket-Anna takes both these basket to the waterfall every morning. The light one holds all dirty clothes she needs to wash. The dark brown one can hold water, because of the rough edges she can rub the clothes against the sides to get the dirt off.

1. Anna's Friends-Anna loves all of her stuffed animals very much. She always exclaims that they are friends, not just toys. She has Tigger, and "faceless", her doll without a face. Her favorite is her sheepy, which goes on her bed, because she can't sleep without it.

2. Special Shelf-This shelf was made by Anders in the shape of a canoe. On the middle shelf, Anna likes to be festive and hold her latest decoration. The top holds her rock collection and the bottom holds her microphones for when she interview's people.

3. Posters-These can really vary, but up on her wall are her various drawings, chores and her special "PURPLE" sign.

4. Bed-Anna has had this bed ever since she grew out of her cradle. She won't let anyone sit on it except her best friend Lizzy, and very occasionally, Peder or Britta.

5. Slippers-If you keep working boots on long enough your poor feet (or paws) can get achy. As soon as Anna is done working each day she slides on one of her slippers and stays in them all day.

1. Bed-Kirsten and Kit share this bed together. Often they go under the cover and talk for a while. It holds their dolls and their wonderfully comfortable crocheted pillow, as well as the quilt their mother made them. In the fall they put a crocheted blanket underneath their heavy quilt to prepare for winter.

2. Walls-The Larsons put up large pieces of canvas to get more warmth circulating through the room. On the walls are pictures and Kit and Kirsten's chore list.

3. Scarves-It's this time of year that the family has to dig through their big trunk and pull up warm scarves and hats. They wear these with light jackets in the Autumn.

4. Quilt-Greta made this quilt for her daughters during the summer. It has a nice thickness to it so they can be warm, yet it's not too thick so they can still use it in the summer. She embroidered lots of scenes on it, including pumpkins, a summer garden, angels and snowflakes.

5. Bed Posts-Kirsten keeps a bucket on the far left bedpost that she likes to fill with pretty nature things. Sometimes cinnamon sticks, sometimes flowers, usually they fill the room with a wonderful scent.

1. Posters-Some of these posters were Roans and she passed them onto Britta. Britta likes horses and colorful things so she's happy to decorate her wall. Her parents don't care so it's only a matter of time it will be completely covered!

2. Sleigh Bed-This bed is the smallest in the house and Britta fits perfectly. She loves it because it looks just like a magical winter sleigh. She piles on pillows and especially loves her plump purple pillow.

3. Stuffed Animals-Roan and Britta have eachother's junk and stuff all mixed together. Roan's baseball hat is in Britta's room and Britta has some stuffed animals in Roan's room.

4. Lamp-This lamp can be lit with a candle and it's often lighted so the girls can write in their journal and read books before bed. It's a little dark in the top loft so a lamp is very welcome.
Picture
1. Window-This window has a view of a tree which blocks some of the light that gets into the room. Greta has been planning to make curtains for this window as well as others, but hasn't quite gotten there yet.

2. Bed- Roan LOVES her bed, as her old sleigh bed was getting very tight and too small for her. She piles on the quilts and pillows and often sits there and naps. She never wants to wake up in the morning now!

3. Toys-Next to her bed is a good place to play, because her bed looks like a little town. She likes to name this town and have her horses and stuffed animals walk through it and go on adventures.

4. Stuffed Animal Pile-Britta and Roan get very attached to their stuffed animals and they never want to get rid of a single one. They are supposed to keep them tidy at the end of Roan's bed, but they often get thrown in a messy pile.

5. Walls-Roan just moved into this room where Anna's friend Lizzy had been living, so all her posters are still on the wall. Including her "BLUE" poster that Anna made her.

1. Stuffed Animals-Anders and Greta could give these animals to their kids for Christmas and they'd be so excited because they forgot they were even here. Last time Greta suggested they get rid of them all the kids protested. So they are still up there in the attic.

2. Trunk-This little trunk is one of the storage places that holds the Larson's Christmas decorations.
